#23: Do you use minus/plus selectors for the quantity feature instead of the dropdown list?
This recommendation has the same logic as the previous one. It improves the UX and decreases the number of actions needed to change the number of items they want to purchase.
If you are using the dropdown list to change the quantity or don't have minus/plus selectors near quantity field, you will make your shoppers to do unnecessary actions.

For example, if you have a dropdown list and shoppers want to buy 2 items, they have to click on the list and then choose the desired option. If you have quantity selectors, they just have to click on the plus sign.
Recent Baymard's research shows:

Yet 61% of sites in our e-commerce UX benchmark make it unnecessarily difficult for users to update the quantity of products by using either only an open text field or a drop-down.

If your theme does not have this feature by default, then you will have to write custom code for this. Here you can hire a developer to do this task for $79.

Here's also the instruction about the implementation of quantity selectors on Shopify

A bad example from Mavi jeans:

They use a dropdown list for the quantity feature, which is not good UX making shopping difficult for your customers, especially if they like to buy a few items per order.

Not the best example from KKWBeauty:

They also have the quantity feature with minus/plus selectors, but it's much smaller that's why it's not so convenient as on Tinyrituals. But on the other hand, it is not known how often it is used. If often, it is obvious that it is better to make it bigger. If not often, then this option will do.

A good example from Tinyrituals:

They are selling jewelry and some customers can buy more than one item, that's why it's relevant for them to have this feature and they implemented it very well, so it's very easy to increase the quantity on Mobile devices, as plus and minus selectors are so big and easy to tap.

A good example from Puravida

They are selling low-price products and customers can buy several products at once that's why they have so big quantity section with minus / plus buttons. Well done, especially in their niche.

#22: Do you use selectors for product variants instead of dropdown lists?
The better UX of your pages, the easier it will be for shoppers. The easier for shoppers, the higher will be conversion rate. If you can eliminate unnecessary actions, you should do that.
Next Guideline
#24: Do you provide users with size chart if you are selling products with different sizes?
If you are selling products that have different sizes (e.g. clothing), it's critical to provide users with size charts. If shoppers are not sure if it's the right size for them, they will have a lot of hesitation in purchasing process.
